Winona-Ryder
Winona Ryder (born Winona Laura Hornowitz) was born in Winona Minnesota. Her parents named her Winona in honor of her hometown. The father of her Michel Horowitz and her mother Cynthia Palmer were authors and editors. Ryder's mother and father have both been Jewish. Ryder believes herself to be Jewish. Uria is Ryder's younger brother. Jubal, Sunyata and Sunyata are the half siblings of Ryder. Ryder as well as her entire family relocated to Mendocino County in California at the age of seven. Ryder was only seven years old. The family resided in an area without electricity. Ryder would read extensively because of the lack of television. Ryder began to take acting classes at the American Conservatory Theatre in 1983 aged 12. Lucas was released in 1986, and Ryder who was just 15 years old, was offered a role as a leading actor. Ryder experienced bullying at high school. Ryder hoped her career as an actor would be able to help. Unfortunately, it didn't work out. But she continued to chase the dreams she had. Her big break came in 1988 with Tim Burton's Beetlejuice. Ryder was later cast in successful roles. In 1993, she was awarded an Oscar Prize to be awarded for The Age of Innocence.
