Emeraude Toubia

Emeraude is an Canadian actor who is best known for the fantasy television series Shadowhunters on Freeform and the Venevision television series Cosita linda as well as Voltea Pa' te Enamores. As a dancer and model Toubia has also had the success she has achieved in both areas. Montreal born, she spent the first few years of her life in Texas. Since she was a child, she had been trained in a variety of dance styles. As a 15-year-old, she entered beauty pageants. In 1999, she made her first on-screen appearance in Televisa's children's program El Mundo de los Ninos. Toubia gained notoriety in 2008 after she appeared in Nuestra Belleza Latina's second season. This is an Univision beauty contest show. In 2010, she began acting when she played an office receptionist on an Telemundo episode. She starred in Tattooed Love (2015), an action film.
